DataDis Unveils a New Automation Module in MIR-RT

At DataDis, our mission is to make maintenance management simpler, smarter, and more connected. With MIR-RT, our fleet and equipment maintenance software, we already help more than 1,200 clients improve operational efficiency and reduce downtime.

Today, we are pleased to officially announce the launch of the new Automation module, a powerful feature designed to streamline daily operations and save valuable time for MIR-RT users.

What is the Automation Module ?

The MIR-RT Automation module enables the automation of maintenance processes. It is an intelligent tool that automatically performs specific actions based on user defined triggers, conditions, and actions.

Its purpose is simple: eliminate repetitive manual tasks and ensure consistent, reliable data across all modules of the software.

In other words, the Automation module now applies a smart and efficient logic :

When X happens, do Y.

How does it work?

Every automation is built on three core components:

  • Triggers : An event that initiates the process, such as the creation of a work order.
  • Conditions : Rules that determine when the action should occur, for example only if the unit note is flagged as major.
  • Actions : What MIR-RT should automatically execute, such as sending an email, changing a status, or creating a task.

This flexible structure allows each organization to configure automations that match its operational reality.

Pratical Examples of Possible Automations

Automatic Status Updates

When a new work order is created without a status, MIR-RT automatically assigns it as “In Progress”.

Automatic Customer Notifications

When a job is completed, an email is automatically sent to the client or equipment owner to confirm that the vehicle is ready.

Time Based Defect Escalation

If a minor defect is not resolved within 48 hours, MIR-RT automatically reclassifies it as major and sends an alert to the shop manager.

Safety and Compliance Rule

If a mechanic attempts to set a vehicle “In Service” while major notes are still active, the system automatically keeps it “Out of Service” to prevent a non compliant dispatch.

Automated Internal Communication

When a work order moves to the “Ready for Review” stage, MIR-RT automatically sends a MIR-MAIL notification to the supervisor.

Modules Currently Supported

The Automation module is already compatible with several components of MIR-RT :

Work Orders
Units
• Unit Notes
Retorques

Additional modules, including Scheduling, Purchasing, and Invoicing, will be added in upcoming development phases.

Key Benefits of the Automation Module

  • Significant time savings through the elimination of manual tasks
  • Reduced data entry errors and missed communications
  • Improved safety and compliance with automated rules
  • Increased productivity in the shop
  • Complete flexibility : so each organization or branch can define its own rules according to its needs

A Major Step Toward a Smarter Shop

The Automation module aligns with MIR-RT’s vision of a proactive, intelligent, and connected system that works for the user.

It transforms maintenance management into a smooth process focused on performance, safety, and reliability.

In Summary

With this new module, MIR-RT becomes more than a maintenance tool. It becomes a true intelligent assistant for mechanical shops.
