DataDis announces a new telematics integration with BlackBerry Radar

At DataDis, we are proud to offer over 1,000 integrations between our heavy vehicle and equipment maintenance software and the technologies most widely used in the transportation industry. By continuously expanding our partner ecosystem, we position MIR-RT as the digital hub of your fleet and maintenance operations.

Today, we are pleased to announce that our telematics integration with BlackBerry Radar is now available to our customers.

What does the telematics integration with BlackBerry Radar do?

This integration enables automatic synchronization between the BlackBerry Radar tracking solution and MIR-RT in order to optimize preventive maintenance planning and asset management. Telematics data from BlackBerry Radar devices is transferred directly into MIR-RT, improving operational visibility and increasing maintenance shop productivity.

BlackBerry Radar is a comprehensive asset and equipment tracking solution developed by BlackBerry Limited. It supports trailers, containers, chassis and other assets, providing near real time visibility into asset location, status and utilization through a secure cloud platform that helps fleet operators make better use of their equipment.

Key features of the integration

Odometers

Improve compliance and optimize preventive maintenance planning with the automated transfer of virtual odometer data from each of your trailers into MIR-RT.

This synchronization allows you to accurately track distance traveled, automatically trigger maintenance tasks and better control your operating costs.

Geofencing

Optimize the planning of your preventive maintenance and repairs with real time visualization of your units’ location in MIR-RT.

A system of color coded indicators shows whether your units are on the road, nearby or in your yard, helping your maintenance shop set the right priorities.

How can the BlackBerry Radar integration benefit your operations?

  • Automated transfer of telematics data into MIR-RT
  • Improved preventive maintenance planning
  • Better visibility of asset location and utilization
  • Reduced manual data entry errors
  • Enhanced coordination between telematics and the maintenance shop
