What Does the Telematics Integration with FOCUS by TELUS Do?
This integration enables the automatic import of telematics data from FOCUS by TELUS directly into MIR-RT to optimize preventive maintenance planning and equipment tracking.
Mileage, engine hour and geolocation data is transferred into MIR-RT to simplify maintenance management. The integration also enables the transfer of defects reported during driver vehicle inspections and automatically notifies drivers once repairs are completed.
Key Features of the integration
Odometer (Km/Mi) Import and Update
Improve compliance and optimize preventive maintenance planning with the automated transfer of odometer data from each of your trucks directly into MIR-RT.
This data allows you to accurately track distance traveled, automatically trigger maintenance tasks, and better control your operating costs.
Odometer (Engine Hours) Import and Update
Extend the life of your equipment and simplify your maintenance planning with the automated transfer of engine hour data from each unit directly into MIR-RT.
This data allows you to accurately track equipment usage, automatically trigger preventive maintenance tasks, and better control your maintenance costs.
Geofencing
Optimize preventive maintenance and repair planning with real-time visibility into the location of your units in MIR-RT. You can also view all your units on a map.
You can also assign zones to determine whether your units are on the road, nearby, or in your yard, helping you better prioritize work in your maintenance shop. A color-coded system also allows you to identify when units move outside predefined zones.
Driver Vehicle Inspection Reports (DVIR)
As soon as a driver reports a defect, a note is automatically created in MIR-RT to alert the maintenance team.
Once the repair is completed, the driver is instantly notified on their tablet and receives the associated work order number for reference.
